PagesJaunes (Solocal), a high‑traffic telco/directory site, aimed to increase user engagement—measured by visit duration, pages per visit and bounce rate—because visitor value depended on how deeply and frequently people used the site. The challenge was to provide timely, contextual support during key browsing moments, especially for new visitors, to encourage deeper use of the site.

Using Kameleoon’s scenario modeling and segment builder, PagesJaunes targeted new visitors (first four visits) with predefined, contextual pop‑ins and messages triggered by searches, actions and page types; the solution was implemented in seven days. The campaign exposed 6 million visitors (20% exposure rate), cut average bounce rate by 4%, doubled use of filters and sorting, and increased time on site—confirming that contextual personalization improved engagement.
