A Kameleoon Case Study
Lacoste, the French high‑end casual clothing brand present in 120 countries with €2bn in annual revenue, faced a common e‑commerce challenge: inconsistent sizing across cuts and materials that left some shoppers hesitant to buy or prone to returns. They identified two visitor types—those willing to return ill‑fitting items and those who would abandon purchase when unsure of size—and set out to increase conversions and reduce returns.
Using a one‑day implementation, Lacoste A/B tested a size‑recommendation widget alongside its existing size guide (three variations, 2 million tested visitors). The widget builds a profile from weight, height, morphology and remembers measurements site‑wide; the combined option (size guide + widget) lifted sales by 1.47% and cut returns by 22.8%, improving customer confidence and purchase rates.
