IKKS generates 16.5% more clicks by optimizing its menu

IKKS, a high-end clothing retailer present in 40 countries with annual sales over €300M, wanted to increase visibility for its women’s “I-code” line by optimizing the placement of the collection tab in its site menu. The challenge was to find the menu position that would attract more visitors to the I-code product pages without redesigning the site.

Using heat maps and an A/B test on desktop (435,000 visitors, two variations), IKKS moved the I-code tab next to the “Women” tab. This change produced a clear hot spot on heat maps and a 16.5% increase in clicks on the I-code tab; the variant was implemented site-wide within half a day using Kameleoon.
