Auchan Retail, a major international retailer with e-commerce sites including auchan.fr and auchandrive.fr, aimed to boost sales in its “Baby” department by personalizing the homepage experience across channels and devices. The challenge was to identify users with an interest in baby products and present them coherent, targeted offers to raise sales and engagement for that segment.
Auchan consolidated browsing, order, receipt and loyalty data in Ysance’s DMP and used Kameleoon to detect real-time interest, then served a 50%‑off promotional banner on both homepages for two weeks to the identified segment. The campaign drove an 18% increase in sales per click versus a generic offer, and banner clicks rose 236% on auchan.fr and 47% on auchandrive.fr.
