Allopneus personalizes its website with the seasons

Allopneus, France’s leading online tire retailer with about 50% market share, faced a behavioral challenge: many drivers—especially in intermediate climates—don’t switch to winter tires despite cold conditions. To boost relevance and sales, the company set out to test a weather- and location-based personalization aimed at increasing winter tire purchases.

Using Kameleoon, Allopneus targeted desktop and mobile visitors geolocated to regions below 7°C who were viewing summer-tire pages and displayed a persistent pop‑in showing local temperature and a CTA to winter tires. The campaign lifted winter-tire sales by 2.9% in February, helped sell the entire winter inventory, and is now triggered whenever the targeting conditions are met.
