Wittified, an Appfire company based in Seattle, develops more than 20 Atlassian Marketplace add‑ons for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo that address delegated administration, add‑on development and distributed communications. Founded by experienced Atlassian administrators, the team aimed to turn a single Bamboo–Chef integration plugin into a sustainable business while tackling common customer pain points, multi‑version compatibility and the shift to Atlassian Cloud.

Wittified uses customer surveys and support forums to prioritize features, automates integration testing with Bamboo and Bitbucket Server, and quickly added Connect apps for Cloud products. That approach — combined with Marketplace tooling and enablement — drove rapid growth: in the last year the company launched 10+ new add‑ons and 100+ product updates, achieved strong Cloud uptake, and was acquired by Appfire while the Wittified team and founder remain focused on the product line.
