SaaS Archivers Use Hosted Enterprise Wiki

LiveOffice, a cloud archiving provider for email, IM, SharePoint and other corporate communications, needed a fast, easy-to-manage, permissions-driven knowledge base to share technical documentation and partner information with multiple internal and external audiences. They required fine-grained access control, simple user/group management, quick deployment without adding server overhead or Java expertise, and a solution that scaled across departments and use cases.

They chose Confluence Hosted and now run about 280 users across 20 spaces with roughly 14,000 weekly hits to archived resources. Confluence became their central documentation hub—handling product docs, meeting notes, roadmaps and public content—while departmental admins and local "champions" drove adoption. The hosted wiki delivered selective sharing, single-source document storage, easy publishing of Word/Excel/PowerPoint, significant time savings versus email, and removed operational burden from their team.
