Roblox, a leader in online gaming with tens of millions of daily users, needed to modernize its collaboration stack to keep pace with rapid growth and the industry shift to cloud technology. Working with solution partner Modus Create and Atlassian, Roblox executed a phased migration to Atlassian Cloud—moving Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Work Management, Jira Service Management, Trello, and other tools—while building internal champions and providing training. The move eliminated duplicate tools, improved discoverability and collaboration, reduced busywork, and delivered significant cost savings (more than $150K per migrated team annually), with expanding adoption across the business.
