PGS Software is a Wrocław-based IT outsourcing firm founded in 2004 with about 102 employees that delivers custom application development, integration and product engineering for clients across Europe and the USA. Facing the common challenges of scaling agile development, knowledge management and project tracking across nearshore/offshore teams and client-facing projects, they needed better transparency, collaboration and a replacement for an unsuccessful SharePoint setup.

PGS adopted the Atlassian suite—Jira with GreenHopper for scrum, Confluence for per-project knowledge bases, and Crucible for code review—integrating these with LDAP, time-tracking and invoicing systems. The result was a public, 24/7 Jira instance and matched Confluence spaces that streamlined agile workflows, improved client visibility and onboarding, boosted code-quality practices, and even encouraged some clients to adopt Jira and scrum after working with PGS.
