Case Study: PlantMiner achieves faster, more frequent releases with Jira Software

A Jira Software Case Study

Preview of the PlantMiner Case Study

PlantMiner builds a marketplace for the construction industry with Bitbucket

PlantMiner is an Australian marketplace that connects builders and suppliers for civil construction projects, serving over 30,000 active searchers with a 60-person team including 15 developers. During their start-up phase a large codebase and a small engineering team made deploying features slow and feedback cycles long, so they needed a centralized code collaboration and automation solution that integrated with their project workflows.

They moved from GitHub to the Atlassian stack—Bitbucket with Bitbucket Pipelines and Jira—so commits and pull requests link directly to Jira issues and CI/CD runs inside the same platform. Automated Pipelines handle tests, builds and deployments with concurrent builds, enabling releases to jump from monthly to twice weekly, reduce merge conflicts, accelerate QA and customer feedback, and improve code quality and time to market.
