Moving to Jira Studio at GenoLogics

GenoLogics is a Victoria-based biomedical software company of about 70 employees that provides discovery and lab solutions to enterprise customers. After using various installed Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Fisheye, Crucible, Bamboo), the company undertook a major migration to Jira Studio to consolidate tools, improve integration and dashboards, and enable remote access — a process that involved a significant migration effort and some performance hiccups.

GenoLogics moved to Jira Studio’s hosted SaaS suite, bringing tools together with an activity stream and using GreenHopper to support agile workflows. Atlassian and Contegix support quickly addressed performance issues, and the result has been tighter integration, better project visibility via dashboards, easier remote access without VPN, and growing company-wide adoption.
