Shine Technologies, an Australian boutique IT consultancy formed in 1997, needed a more client-friendly issue-tracking tool to increase client involvement, strengthen relationships and speed project delivery. Their existing tracker had a poor interface and limited functionality, making collaboration and change management inefficient.
They adopted Atlassian’s Jira for its intuitive interface and rich feature set, rolling it out across all 30 employees and about 100 users (including clients) across 27 active projects. Jira improved efficiency, made changing requirements easier to manage, increased collaboration with customers and delivered over $100,000 in annual savings.
