How Rivian saved $2.5M per year, supercharged satisfaction, and scaled by centralizing on Atlassian cloud

Rivian needed to simplify a fast-growing, fragmented toolset and build a stronger business case for consolidating work management and collaboration across the company. Using Jira Software and Jira Service Management on Atlassian cloud, the team aimed to reduce duplicate tools, improve governance, and help employees and external vendors work together more effectively.

Jira Software helped Rivian demonstrate a new way of collaborating, easing user concerns and supporting a phased migration with Atlassian’s support tools. As a result, Rivian moved about 10,000 users to Atlassian Cloud Enterprise over eight months and achieved $2.5M in annual savings, a 36% cost reduction.
