As the company scaled, managing on‑premise Jira and Confluence ate up four to five staff for server and update work, caused occasional downtime, and left teams focused on tactical maintenance rather than strategic innovation.
Working with partner beecom, Homegate migrated Jira Software and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud, cleaned up apps and users, ran a proof of concept, and used Atlassian Access with Okta for automated provisioning and SSO; the production cutover completed in 24 hours. The move cut costs by 15%, eliminated much server maintenance, boosted uptime and security, sped onboarding, and freed engineering time to concentrate on new “Next Gen” projects and product innovation.
