Storage limits, heavy maintenance, fragmented documentation, and multiple service tools slowed work across labs and engineering teams just as the company aimed to dramatically increase output and cut costs.
Working with Atlassian and Praecipio Consulting, Ginkgo migrated to Atlassian Cloud Premium, cleaned up instances, consolidated service management on Jira Service Management, and added Atlassian Access, Okta, Opsgenie, Insight, and Comala workflows. The move removed server overhead, improved data accuracy and visibility, enabled single sign‑on and role‑based access, and unlocked asset and incident management for lab equipment—driving rapid adoption, faster incident resolution, and positioning the company to more than triple output while cutting costs by over 50%.
