Diabetes.org Gets Helpful Hand with Atlassian Issue Tracker

The American Diabetes Association (ADA), a nationwide non‑profit with ~700 employees focused on fighting diabetes, undertook a major redesign of its flagship site, diabetes.org, and needed a way to coordinate work across multiple vendors and internal teams. With Siteworx hired to engineer the new site (and Convio involved for CRM integration), the ADA faced a high volume of bugs, tasks and cross‑team communication during the build and for ongoing maintenance.

Siteworx brought the ADA into its shared Jira instance to centralize issue tracking, automatically alert project managers, and give all three teams one place to log, comment on and resolve tickets. The tool became a client‑facing maintenance portal and streamlined asset exchange, leading to cleaner tracking, faster problem resolution, clearer workflows, and interest within the ADA to adopt Atlassian tools more broadly.
