Case Study: Domino’s achieves faster DevOps, 75% risk reduction and $100K annual savings with Jira Software

A Jira Software Case Study

Delivering technology and great pizza faster

Domino’s, a global leader in pizza delivery and a technology-driven e-commerce business, relied on DevOps to rapidly deliver digital features but faced a recurring bottleneck: security reviews were disconnected from developer workflows, requiring hours of meetings and late-stage input that slowed delivery.

To fix this, Domino’s worked with Forty8Fifty Labs to build a Confluence 10-question form that automatically generates Jira security tickets and integrated Jira data into Splunk ITSI via the Splunk for Jira app. The change collapsed weeks of meetings into minutes (a few minutes to submit the form and about four minutes to get tickets), produced dashboards with 10 key security indicators, prompted targeted developer training, reduced risk by 75%, and saved roughly $100,000 annually—helping Domino’s deliver secure features (and more pizza) faster.
