Croatian insurer Crosig implements scrum with Atlassian

Croatia osiguranje (Crosig), the largest and oldest insurer in Croatia, set out to become the country’s first all-digital insurer. To meet rising customer expectations and handle growing project volume and complex cross-team dependencies, its IT organization needed to move beyond physical boards and a simple in‑house tool and embed scrum and more scalable collaboration across the business.

Crosig piloted and then rolled out Jira Software and Confluence (pilot in 2020, full IT rollout by late 2021 and company-wide adoption by early 2022) to support agile ways of working. The tools increased transparency, made information easier to find, enabled teams to follow the scrum framework and manage dependencies, and gave managers better visibility and control—simplifying daily operations across the company.
