Atlassian cloud products make Git adoption a cinch for TriNet

TriNet, a San Leandro–based provider of cloud HR software serving over 9,000 small and medium-sized businesses, adopted agile development and moved to Git to better manage a complex, shared codebase. While Git improved collaboration, the team faced a steep learning curve and needed a way to make distributed development more manageable and secure.

TriNet added Bitbucket to its existing Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo), using Bitbucket’s tight integrations, UI, tutorials, branch-level permissions, and automation hooks to simplify Git adoption and enforce controls.
