Rostelecom-Integracija, a systems integrator that builds CRM, billing and automation solutions for Russia’s largest telecom Rostelecom, needed a way to coordinate three agile teams working from a single backlog. Their requirements included multi-team Scrum support (separate task boards but one maintained backlog), robust bug and issue tracking, custom attributes and workflows, powerful search, and an easy-to-use interface for both technical and nontechnical users.

After a staged evaluation and pilot, they chose YouTrack for its cost-effectiveness, simple setup, strong reporting and dashboards, multiple Scrum boards, keyboard shortcuts and a scriptable Workflow Editor. YouTrack helped align processes across teams, streamline backlog and task management, and improve visibility via custom reports; the teams found the tool convenient and now consider it indispensable, with plans to integrate it with TeamCity.
