Spartanburg Community College (SCC) is a two-year public college in upstate South Carolina with five campuses that needed a better, centralized ticket-management system to store historical data, track inventory and collect feedback. The college required a Microsoft‑compatible, web‑based solution that could manage roughly 2,000 computers at the time and scale as the institution grew.

After evaluating nearly ten systems, SCC implemented Issuetrak in 2005 for its cost, features, customization and ease of use—and found the vendor’s customer service exceptional. The platform delivered time and cost savings, improved team communication, and broad adoption (about 1,800 users) for helpdesk, issue tracking and workflows; SCC later moved to Issuetrak’s cloud offering and integrated an after‑hours vendor into the system.
