The Ministry of Public Administration of Slovenia needed a secure, highly reliable remote support solution to help serve more than 2 million citizens and support outsourced IT engineers while keeping all data in-house. As a government authority, it also required strong security, central authentication, and software installed on internal servers. ISL Online’s Private Cloud and ISL Light products were used to meet these needs.
ISL Online implemented a Corporate Server License on two internal servers, creating a fault-tolerant Private Cloud with load balancing, duplicated data, and near-100% service reliability. The solution enabled about 50 simultaneous sessions during peak hours and around 36,000 support sessions per year, while helping the Ministry cut IT costs by an estimated 50%, reduce RSA card expenses, improve control over external work, and support remote administration from mobile devices.
