Regional Bakery, a mid-sized bakery customer, wanted to secure wider distribution with a major retailer and better understand how its product was performing versus the rest of the market. IRI helped Regional Bakery build a strong brand story by analyzing category performance, conversion and leakage, shopper response, and where shoppers were buying the product when it was unavailable at the retailer. As a result, the retailer buyer was persuaded by the business case and agreed to expand distribution to all of its stores, delivering a significant increase in distribution through IRI’s insights.
