Major Food and Beverage Manufacturing Company worked with IRI to better understand and improve its digital advertising performance. The customer needed clearer insight into shoppers’ online behavior and the digital path to purchase so it could make smarter marketing decisions and improve return on ad spend.
IRI developed a digital path-to-purchase analysis using clickstream data to identify the websites shoppers visited most often in the 24 hours before purchase, along with a site visitation report covering 200 websites. Based on these insights, the customer revised its digital strategy and achieved an 18% improvement in digital return on advertising spend.
