Leading Global Beverage Manufacturing Company worked with IRI to identify the highest-opportunity retail stores for its beverage brands. The challenge was to find where local shopper demand and brand buyer profiles aligned best so the company could focus promotional efforts and improve store-level targeting.
IRI used shopper behavior, point-of-sale, spatial, and National Consumer Panel data, along with IRI ShopperSights™, to build buyer profiles and pinpoint 2,500 stores with strong product opportunity. After IRI’s recommendations were presented to the retailer, the customer secured approval for 2,500 incremental displays, generating more than 100,000 units sold and a $1 million revenue lift.
