CPG Manufacturing Company worked with IRI when a key retailer partner began testing stores without the company’s brand, putting more than $10 million in annual distribution at risk. The manufacturer needed to quickly understand whether the absence of its products was hurting store performance and whether the test could lead to delisting.
Using IRI’s shopper insights and retailer collaboration tools, the company built custom test and control store groups, tracked pre- and post-test sales trends, and monitored results through dashboards.
