A IQVIA Case Study
The Oncology Center, a major treatment, research, and academic facility focused on cancer care, wanted a proactive way to grow patient volume in its Radiation Oncology and Oncology specialties. They partnered with IQVIA (through IQVIA Digital Enablement) to pilot AIM XR–driven physician research behavior triggered emails that identify and engage providers researching relevant medical information.
IQVIA used privacy‑optimized claims data and AIM XR to send a custom series of timely, personalized triggered emails with clear referral CTAs; the campaign drove 159 net new patient referrals from 123 net new referring physicians. The program delivered a 51.5% increase in total referring providers, a 29.1% lift in patient referrals from those who received triggered emails, and showed that 34% of referring physicians only referred after receiving a triggered email, prompting The Oncology Center to continue the IQVIA program.
