To address this, Bayer HealthCare launched the ASPIREs program and partnered with IQVIA, deploying the IQVIA Clinical Trial Payments solution to automate site payments and invoice resolution across multiple countries.
IQVIA implemented an automated payments portal and rolling reconciliation that streamlined invoicing, increased transparency, and cut manual work. The IQVIA solution reduced payment cycle time from 75 to 33.5 days (≈55% faster), lowered payment-related disputes from 43 to 10 (≈77% reduction), cut required templates from five to one (≈80% reduction), and reduced staff time on payment tasks by up to ~90%, helping Bayer HealthCare pay sites two to three times faster and eliminate end-of-study reconciliation.
