A leading global pharmaceutical company engaged IQVIA to support four large, international Phase III biologic studies in moderate-to-severe psoriasis. IQVIA was tasked with delivering patient recruitment services—including a Patient Recruitment Management Plan (RMP) and predictive enrollment—to overcome unfamiliarity with recruitment advertising, reluctant regulators, skeptical investigators, and low public awareness across 13 countries.
IQVIA implemented the RMP, predictive enrollment analytics and daily monitoring to optimize advertising and site screening, achieving full randomization within the sponsor’s timelines. The vendor’s approach produced a combined four-study average recruitment contribution of 35% (peak 44%), exceeded the 27% goal in three of four studies, outperformed projections in 10 of 13 countries, and delivered 46% of EU/ROW and 42% of U.S. enrolled patients—demonstrating measurable enrollment gains by IQVIA.
