Customer Data Enrichment and Data Governance Policy Implementation

Top Pharmaceutical Manufacturer needed to extract customer records from a legacy vaccine system and harmonize them with its general medicine customer master to migrate all customers to Model N’s Flex and implement a universal data governance policy. IQVIA’s Global Pricing & Contracting (GPC) team led the effort, using IQVIA’s Harmonizer tool and OneKey for standardization and matching, and addressing missing industry identifiers (DEA/HIN) and inconsistent class-of-trade data across systems.

IQVIA combined automated matching, an address‑matching script for identifier enrichment, manual stewardship, and validation checks for government pricing and contract eligibility, then tested inputs in a lower environment before production runs. As a result, IQVIA harmonized more than 20,000 customer records, established a sustainable cross‑business data governance process, reduced time‑intensive manual resolution, and improved master data management to enable accurate government price calculations and chargeback adjudication.
