Leading Emerging Biopharma Company partnered with IQVIA to build a digital-first caregiver support program for children with a rare pediatric brain disease who require daily subcutaneous injections. The challenge was to equip often family-member caregivers with disease education, emotional support and practical injection training to sustain adherence from early childhood through adolescence.

IQVIA delivered a caregiver-facing platform through its Patient Engagement and Support services and patient engagement technology, combining education modules, injection training videos, tailored action plans, adherence tools and a nursing app for remote or face-to-face support. The solution produced a 95% average compliance rate, expanded from an initial 2 countries to 8, and measurably increased caregiver confidence and long-term treatment adherence with a centralized, scalable approach.
