Bona Vista Water District Improves Productivity with Superior Payment Technology

Bona Vista Water District, a Utah special service district serving roughly 9,000 accounts, was growing faster than the state average and struggling with high volumes of in-person and mailed-in payments, limited reporting on autopay/paperless enrollments, an outdated user experience, and scalability and security issues with their hosted EBPP platform. To address these challenges they selected InvoiceCloud as their electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) provider.

InvoiceCloud implemented a SaaS-based, omni-channel payment solution (including pay-by-text and statement access without login), improved reporting and secure integration with Bona Vista’s billing software. In the first six months Bona Vista saw 74% electronic payment adoption, a 63% increase in paperless enrollment, $1,500 saved in print and mail costs, and a 20% drop in payment-related calls, improving staff morale and operational efficiency.
