Imwave, Inc. is a performance-based SEM agency that gets paid on the sales and leads it generates. Many of their national-brand clients convert a large share of business through call centers, and with mobile search growing rapidly imwave faced the challenge of monetizing phone-driven conversions, preventing commission “leakage,” and attributing calls to specific keywords and campaigns.

Imwave integrated Invoca’s pay-per-call platform (via existing affiliate networks), using campaign-specific phone numbers and RingPools’ dynamic number insertion to tie calls to keywords, then ran mobile ad tests. The approach drove a 12% lift in commissions, a 250% higher click/call-through rate on ads with phone numbers, average call-to-conversion rates above 30% (Ad Group B saw ~37%), generated more than $250K in pay-per-call commissions and over 10,000 calls per month, and produced top ad-group ROI of nearly 85%.
