Telenor Hungary, the country’s second-largest mobile operator with over 3.4 million subscribers and 40+ stores, wanted to modernize its retail locations by blending physical and digital experiences into a unique in-store shopping journey. Faced with the choice of costly outsourced development or a disappointing website-in-store approach, Telenor explored whether its internal design team could build memorable, interactive kiosks affordably and with greater control.
The team chose Intuiface, a no-code digital experience platform, and self-trained to create multi-touch retail experiences. Licenses were rolled out in a 13-store pilot (four displays per store) and deployed rapidly, allowing Telenor to iterate quickly via remote updates and collect engagement metrics. The result: lower cost, faster time-to-store, better control and scalability, and an agile, data-driven in-house process that matched or exceeded third-party work.
