Case Study: Rocks Discovery Museum achieves a modern, more engaging visitor experience with Intuiface

A Intuiface Case Study

Preview of the Rocks Discovery Museum Case Study

14 expanded and 3 new multimedia exhibits equipped to add more stories and collect data to better engage the visitors in the museum

Rocks Discovery Museum, a Sydney-based heritage museum, needed to refresh its 15-year-old interactive exhibits and update outdated software and hardware while adding new stories, including First Nations perspectives. The museum turned to Intuiface through the creative agency Art of Multimedia to redevelop its multimedia displays within the existing cabinetry and space constraints.

Using the Intuiface platform and Intuiface Analytics, Art of Multimedia created 14 expanded and 3 new multimedia exhibits with less custom coding, faster authoring, and built-in visitor data collection. The update improved visitor engagement with features like a touch-table interactive map and QR downloads, while also allowing staff to add new stories and adjust exhibits over time, making better use of the same hardware and space.
