Inversiones la Construccion (ILC) is a Chilean conglomerate—controlled by the Chilean Chamber of Construction AG—providing services across pensions, healthcare, insurance, education and technology. Preparing the largest IPO in Chilean history (more than $468 million) required organizing thousands of pages of sensitive legal, financial and personnel documents (about 8 GB) for a transnational team of 32 partners with differing access needs while ensuring confidentiality and compatibility of varied file formats.

ILC adopted IntraLinks Dealspace to centralize uploads and distribution without file-size or format limits, using document-level permissions, watermarking and print restrictions plus a built-in conversion tool to turn images into readable PDFs. The platform streamlined deal organization, kept access tightly controlled, and freed ILC staff to focus on the offering—helping secure IPO approval in July 2012 while saving the company up to 50% in time and resources.
