Globalvia, a world leader in transport infrastructure management with 29 projects across eight countries, sold 100% of its shares in October 2015 for approximately €420 million. During a four‑year, three‑step sale process the company needed a simple, secure way to share and control confidential transaction documents, generate accurate reports for its steering committee, and support nearly 100 international users—spreadsheets were insufficient for that level of security and oversight.

Globalvia selected the familiar Intralinks virtual data room, which was set up and activated in under two hours and populated in under two days. Using Intralinks’ IRM, watermarking and revocation controls, the team maintained granular document protection and streamlined collaboration across roles and countries, increasing deal‑team productivity and enabling the successful close of the €420m transaction.
