Security Benefit, a 120-year-old financial services and retirement planning company, needed a faster and more secure way to share due diligence materials. Before adopting IntraLinks, the team relied on CDs, overnight mail, and onsite document review, which was costly, time-consuming, and hard to manage for large document sets.

Security Benefit implemented IntraLinks during its 2007 acquisition of Rydex Investments to manage due diligence. IntraLinks enabled secure centralized storage and sharing of large volumes of data, with document-level controls, permissioning, and restricted printing, while drag-and-drop uploads and auto-notifications made distribution much faster and easier.
