Australian Corporate Lawyers Association - Customer Case Study

The Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA), a national body supporting 3,500 in‑house corporate lawyers, needed a better way to distribute large board packs (about ten documents and ~100 pages) to geographically dispersed, often mobile board members. Firewall issues, access restrictions, printing and manual distribution caused delays, security concerns and significant administrative overhead.

ACLA implemented IntraLinks Connect, a secure cloud SaaS portal that centralizes PDFs and PowerPoint files, supports iPads, smartphones and laptops, and stores prior‑year materials. The platform sped up distribution, strengthened information governance and compliance, cut printing (about 1,400 pages no longer printed), reduced time spent on logistics, and gave board members timely, secure access from anywhere.
