The IntraLinks platform’s flexibility, security, and broad adoption among investors helped Ares eliminate other file-sharing tools, improve security, and simplify access with features like single sign-on. After standardization, IntraLinks usage expanded significantly: users increased from 909 to over 3,000 in the first year, and Exchanges grew from 21 to 53.
