RAJA Group, a European leader in professional packaging with 4,500 employees, 250,000 products and multi‑channel sales, faced the need for a reliable, scalable e‑commerce platform to support internationalization, localization and fast order processing as product range and shipment volumes grew. To modernize its RAJASm@rt portal and reduce manual rollout effort across countries, RAJA selected Intershop’s Commerce Management platform (implemented with partner Datasolution).

Intershop delivered a solution with tailored catalogs, personalization, reusable country templates and standardized REST interfaces for payments, chat and other touchpoints, enabling seamless integration across channels. The French site went live in 9 months and other countries followed within another 9 months; online sales now account for up to 40% of RAJA’s revenue, catalog paper use has fallen 20% since 2010, and a 20,000 m² warehouse expansion (part of 390,000 m² total storage) supports faster fulfillment — all driven by Intershop’s platform and integrations.
