Desivero, a start‑up founded in 2015 by thermohydraulic specialists, set out to digitally transform the sanitary sector by creating a modern e‑commerce portal that combines a comprehensive product portfolio (over 3,000 references) with consulting services and an innovative guided planning tool to simplify bathroom and HVAC selection. To achieve this, Desivero engaged Intershop to deliver the underlying commerce technology and support the rollout of a differentiated customer experience.

Intershop implemented the Intershop Commerce Platform (including OMS, PIM and EXM) — via implementation partner SMC Consulting — and integrated chat, a guided design tour, a wizard for correct HVAC sizing, marketing automation and backend compatibility checks. The result is a virtual design studio where customers can build projects from a catalog of more than 1,000 examples, get a complete implementation estimate, and avoid mispurchases; Desivero’s teams now publish content and update catalogs independently, centralize management of >3,000 SKUs, and deliver a faster, more confident buying experience thanks to Intershop.
