Jim Block, the Hamburg-based burger restaurant group, wanted a more flexible way for takeaway customers to order online while improving its brand experience. The company needed a click-and-collect solution with a burger configurator, plus better handling of inventory, orders, cancellations, and restaurant-specific requirements. Intershop’s Click & Collect solution, built on the Intershop Commerce Platform, was chosen to support these goals.

Intershop, together with implementation partner signTEK, delivered a mobile-first online shop and store app that let customers configure and preorder burgers for scheduled pickup, while giving restaurants tools to manage time slots and product availability. The solution also integrated the Jim Block customer card for online and in-store use. Jim Block went live in just 6 months, giving customers a more convenient ordering experience and strengthening its online brand presence.
