MS Schippers, a livestock farming company that produces around 300 million ear tags per year and operates in 40 countries, needed to digitalize its business to improve service and support farmers directly. The company faced the challenge of simplifying management of localized B2B stores across ten countries—each with different pricing, VAT and shipping rules—and wanted the ability to launch additional country-specific shops quickly. Intershop implemented a high-performance, multi-channel e-commerce platform integrated with Schippers’ catalog, SyncForce and SAP, enabling 10 localized webshops, a 24/7 service portal (invoice history, repeat orders, favorites, returns), and an intelligent app for livestock monitoring. As a result, MS Schippers gained faster country rollouts, improved process efficiency for inbound sales and order entry, stronger customer self-service and broader digital reach across 40 countries—demonstrating measurable expansion of localized online channels and increased customer engagement driven by Intershop.
