Wolters Kluwer, a global information and software provider, needed to increase the share of digital revenue and deliver omnichannel webshops across multiple countries and languages. To address these challenges it selected Intershop and the Intershop Commerce Platform as the foundation for its e‑commerce strategy.
Intershop implemented two market-specific e‑commerce shops on a single platform using a fully headless, REST API architecture with seamless integration to Bloomreach Experience Manager. The solution went live in just four weeks, improved mobile page load and user experience, consolidated management of multiple country shops, and enabled rapid expansion into new markets; Wolters Kluwer reports stronger-than-expected customer ratings following the Intershop rollout.
