Integrated self-service e-commerce ordering

Environmental Solutions Group (ESG), a division of Dover serving waste management and recycling customers, was struggling with a slow, error-prone manual aftermarket ordering process that caused order errors, longer equipment downtime, and heavy inbound call volume. To modernize parts ordering and give dealers better visibility into demand, ESG partnered with Intershop and deployed Intershop Commerce alongside CDS Partable for integrated self-service e-commerce.

Intershop implemented a solution combining Intershop Commerce and CDS Partable with 2D exploded-view images, interactive 3D models, simplified catalog management and API integration to ESG’s ERP. The results were dramatic: a 900% increase in online self-service orders, 696% higher online revenues and customer approval ratings above 95%, plus higher order accuracy, lower cart abandonment, reduced operating costs and improved dealer stocking visibility — all delivered by Intershop’s platform.
