IGO Promo Offers Business Customers a Perfect Shopping Experience Based on Intershop

IGO Promo, a European supplier of promotional gifts, needed to move beyond traditional catalogs and offer B2B customers a familiar B2C online shopping experience—allowing product comparison, easy ordering, mobile access and multichannel convenience—while rapidly launching 12 country-specific shops and integrating existing systems. To meet these goals the company chose Intershop and migrated its storefront to Intershop 7.5 (with implementation support from Fenego).

Intershop implemented Intershop 7.5 with a responsive “My IGO Promo” customer environment, B2C-style features (favorites, logo management), and Synaptic Commerce interfaces that linked the shop to Microsoft Dynamics AX and Stibo Trailblazer; the solution was hosted on AWS and delivered using a centralized shop-management model and scrum. As a result, Intershop enabled 12 shops to go live within six months, ensured real-time ERP/PIM synchronization to eliminate information gaps, reduced integration time and cost, and provided a scalable, mobile-ready platform ready for growth and peak traffic.
