Häfele SE & Co KG, a global manufacturer and distributor of furniture fittings and architectural products, needed to shift from an offline-first to an online-first model and standardize digital sales across diverse markets. To support international growth, localization requirements and integration with many local systems, Häfele selected Intershop and the Intershop Commerce Platform for its scalability, API-based architecture and preconfigured internationalization features.

Intershop delivered a centrally managed, API-driven commerce platform as part of the “Häfele One Web” initiative, enabling a standardized rollout across 38 subsidiaries with a central catalog of around 160,000 articles and seamless SAP and third‑party integrations. The Intershop implementation produced 24/7 personalized B2B accounts with self-service, intelligent search for up-/cross-selling, and reduced administrative effort — with regional store rollouts now taking just 2–3 months, supporting measurable scalability, faster market entry and improved customer satisfaction.
