VBH, a global leader in windows and door fittings with over €550 million in annual turnover and a catalog of 150,000+ products, needed to digitize a traditionally offline B2B market: centralize and standardize product and customer data, improve customer segmentation, and build a stable, future-proof B2B e-commerce channel. To achieve this, VBH selected Intershop as the core B2B platform to consolidate national subsidiaries and provide a configurable, scalable foundation.

Intershop was implemented as the centralized B2B core and integrated with improved PIM/ERP data structures, regional shop rollouts and the greenteQ brand; an implementation partner (XIM) built a scanner app fully integrated with the Intershop core to simplify ordering and speed product discovery. The solution centralized VBH’s processes into one platform, supported international expansion, and delivered measurable impact — over 4,000 orders were placed via the scanner app in the first months — while creating a scalable, future-proof commerce foundation.
