Röhm, a global leader in methacrylate chemistry with around 2,900 employees, faced growing customer demand for faster, more transparent B2B procurement and self-service access to shipment status, documents, and recurring tasks. To close this digital gap and better handle increasing supply-chain complexity, Röhm partnered with Intershop and selected the Intershop Commerce Platform (integrated with SAP S/4HANA) to build a customer-facing solution.
Intershop co-developed RöhmConnect, a digital self-service portal that provides real-time order tracking, centralized access to SDS/TDS/invoices/order confirmations, easy reordering and sample requests, and 24/7 access to procurement data and documents. Deployed across Europe for Bulk Monomers customers, the Intershop-enabled platform has delivered measurable improvements in transparency and availability, positive customer feedback, and internal efficiency gains that free sales and service teams for higher-value work.
